Inventory & finance management for a multi-company structure

Situation

A wholesale trading group tracked inventory and finance through disconnected spreadsheets — separate files per company and warehouse, manual end-of-day consolidation, and data entry errors that could go unnoticed for days.

Solution

We built an ERP core capable of managing multiple companies and warehouses within a single data model:

• Company- and warehouse-level stock tracking with one consolidated view
• Role-based access control governing which users can see which company/warehouse data
• Excel import/export tools to ease the transition period and data sharing with external partners
• Automatic generation of end-of-day financial summary reports

Results

• The manual consolidation process was eliminated entirely
• Incorrect stock/price entries became visible in real time
• Management can now track every company's financial position from a single screen
• The system scales to new companies or warehouses without additional development
