What are PAUT and TOFD?
Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) is an electronically scanned UT technique offering greater sensitivity and coverage than conventional UT. Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) delivers high-reliability volumetric defect detection based on diffracted energy. ISO 17020-accredited PAUT and TOFD firms must accurately manage service fees, mobilization charges and personnel costs, and link A-B-C scan data to the relevant inspection record.
